Villa Kai sits on a peaceful hilltop on Nusa Penida’s east coast, overlooking the ocean and Mount Agung. Its secluded setting, away from traffic and busy tourist areas, invites guests to slow down and unwind. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and, on clear nights, starry skies and moonlight over the sea.
The villa features four air-conditioned bedrooms, combining natural materials with tropical accents. Each room has a premium King Koil mattress, with protective mattress and pillow covers changed between every stay. At the heart of the villa is a 15-metre terrazzo infinity pool with uninterrupted views of the ocean and Mount Agung.
Large windows and folding doors fill the living spaces with natural light and connect them to the surroundings. The design captures natural sea breezes, while the living and dining areas can be enclosed and air-conditioned when desired. Guests can prepare their own meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The team prepares a fresh breakfast to share each morning, and daily housekeeping is included.
The local team can help arrange drivers, restaurant orders, massages, transfers and other services. Grocery shopping, pre-arrival fridge stocking and a private cook for lunch or dinner can also be organised on request. These services are subject to additional charges and availability. The town centre, Cactus Beach Club and The Chill are approximately five minutes away by vehicle; restaurants, cafés and shops are not within walking distance. A scooter or driver is recommended, although the final access road is relatively steep and may be challenging for inexperienced scooter riders. Built in 2025, Villa Kai is also the owners’ family home when they return to Bali from Germany. Its name reflects a personal family meaning and a connection to the ocean. Guests are asked to treat the team, property and neighbours with courtesy and respect.
