Villa Ti-Art

The Ti-Art Villa is a spacious luxury contemporary villa with traditional Balinese elements and several buildings: Living room, sleeping house, open and covered kitchen, bale benong, studio and staff house. The villa is located on the quiet authentic Balinese jalan Padang Galak outside the tourist crowds, a 7-10* minute drive from the center of Sanur and about 400 meters from the mysterious abandoned Taman Festival Park and the beach of Padang Galak. This beach is often used for ceremonies and is known for kite festivals in July and August. The sea can be turbulent here and is not suitable for swimming, but a little further south near the center of Sanur, the sea is calm due to the presence of a sandbank. In the other direction, within walking distance of the villa, is the Margot Riverside restaurant serving both Asian and Western dishes. You can also go to Margot for a massage or spa treatment. The Ti-Art Villa has a private area of 2300 m2 with a specially landscaped tropical sculpture garden, a swimming pool and a “Bale Benong” for reading or resting. Sculptor Tineke Vermeer spent 12 years alternating between 3 months in the Ti-Art Villa in Bali and 3 months in the Netherlands. During that time she created the current Ti-Art Villa.

The Ti-Art Villa has an artistically decorated open Living (140 m2) with a kitchen, a large dining table for 12 people, toilet, sink and a bedroom with two single beds. Then a covered terrace (60 m2) with a table and 8 chairs. In the adjacent sleeping house are the other 3 bedrooms – each with a double bed – and two bathrooms. The closed fully equipped kitchen with covered terrace is also separate with a view of the garden and the swimming pool. The pool needs no further explanation, look at the photos. Seat cushions, mattresses and towels are provided. Our head of housekeeping Kadek is present from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. She takes care of the cleaning and maintenance of the villa. If desired, she can prepare a delicious Indonesian meal for you at cost price. Private driver Agous is available on call for a fee. Agous has been providing trips and excursions for 20 years and shows you the real Bali. There are also two free bicycles at the villa with which guests can explore Sanur and the surrounding area.

If you rent the villa, you rent the whole. So no other guests will be present at the same time. The bedroom in the living room may get a different destination in the course of 2024. Therefore, please consult if you want to use that room in 2024.

Finally, it should be mentioned that a cat and dog are present for security. The animals are cared for by the staff.

*) Since the opening of the new port in early 2023, there is often a traffic jam towards Sanur center at the end of the afternoon and the travel time is then longer than at other times. The local authorities are working on a solution to this congestion problem.
